Advanced Windows Exploitation (AWE)
Our most hardcore Advanced Exploitation Techniques course. Understanding that there is no way to prevent bugs from occurring, Microsoft has implemented many anti-exploitation features in modern versions of Windows. This has created a situation where a significantly increased skill set is now needed to create modern exploits. AWE, or Advanced Windows Exploits, teaches you the knowledge required to step your skill up to the level necessary to work around these controls.
Utilizing extensive hands-on material, AWE covers such advanced topics as DEP bypass, heap spraying, function pointer overwrites, buffer space limitations, Windows driver exploits, and creating custom hand-made shellcode. You won’t just read about theory, but rather will be hands on creating exploits for non-staged systems with real world applications. This is not an entry level course however! Experience with a debugger, previous Windows exploits, and a intense tolerance for hard work is required.
We offer AWE in BlackHat Vegas, and as separate Corporate in house trainings.
